W.E. Nash, an elder of First United Presbyterian for more than 65 years was the first principal of Cook High School from 1926 to 1953.

E. Harper Johnson Succeeds W.E. Nash
E. Harper Johnson succeeded W.E. Nash in 1953 and served as principal until the school closed in 1966.

Cook High School Closed
Integration signaled the end of Cook High School. The school closed its doors in 1966 after 40 years.
